Methvens Themed Monthly Exhibitions

Hello Everyone

Methvens Bookshop in Worthing town centre have started a series of themed monthly shows of "Affordable Art" (selling at £30 or under).

Details below:

The first show will open on Friday 31st October, 2008. The show is titled "GOTHIC".

There will be a prize awarded to 'ARTIST OF THE MONTH'.

Finished work should be submitted to Methvens on or by Friday 24th October, 2008.

No limits.....

From sculpture to photography and all in between, calligraphy, edible art, painting, drawing, textiles, jewellery, ceramics......

No age limit, all are welcome.

All work should be clearly labelled with artists name, contact details and price.

Methvens will charge a £2 exhibition fee.

I know that I have left you all no notice regarding submission dates for this exhibition, as I have only just joined your group. But you may
already have a print that may fit into this Gothic Theme. But, if you miss this exhibition this month; there is always another next month with a different themed entry requirement. I will keep you posted on this forum regarding future themed exhibitions @ Methvens and submission details.
